What is DigiDocFlow?

DigiDocFlow offers you the opportunity to easily create a digital archive by scanning directly from your Ricoh Family Group multifunctional device. In just three simple steps your document is scanned and intelligently stored within your network in the desired file format. Based on the information entered by a user on the MFD, DigiDocFlow can store the scanned document in any desired location; whether it be your home directory, a Windows file structure or a business application such as Microsoft SharePoint. DigiDocFlow can even synchronize with your personal email client and attach a scanned document directly to an email, ready to be sent to your contact directly from the MFD. Scanned documents can be converted to static Tiff or Jpeg files, or to text searchable PDF, PDF/A or OpenOffice files. After scanning and storing, all documents can easily be retrieved using a single search key phrase.

DigiDocFlow has been developed from an end-user’s perspective. All documents can be digitalized without the need of installing software on local computers. DigiDocFlow is middleware and runs on a non-dedicated server. This means that limited training is required, because users work directly with the multifunctional device they are already familiar with.


In addition, if you want all of your digital workflow needs to be supported, the integration of Personal Paperless Document Manager and DigiDocFlow makes this extremely easy. Using DigiDocFlow, you can now easily scan documents directly to Personal Paperless Document Manager and edit the documents on your own desktop, fast and easy. Also, users can get access to DigiDocFlow’s features through the use of use Personal Paperless Document Manager , all with drag and drop ease.

  To scan a document simply place it on the multifunctional and, using the hot buttons, select the desired workflow on the display of the MFD.

  Specify a storage location within your network. DigiDocFlow can automatically create new folders and subfolders based on information in the document. Additionally it's possible to add extra data to the scan. This data can be used to fill the document properties or to create a filename.
3.   Finally, press the start button; the document is scanned and stored in the correct location.
